Explorers

Explorers, campers finished grades 1-2, are our youngest campers. They enjoy a fun-filled, five-night program and get a chance to try many age-appropriate activities. Since this may be an Explorer’s first time away from home, extra care is taken to ensure their time at Thunderbird is safe, comfortable and enjoyable. Explorers stay in heated cabins with indoor washroom facilities and showers. We choose Explorer counsellors for their compassion and empathy, and for their unique abilities and special interest in working with young children.
