Outpost

Outpost is for campers finished grades 6-8. Their camp experience is unique because it gives them the opportunity to spend time both in camp and away on a four or five-day out-trip. In camp, they spend their mornings in “Outpost Interest Groups”, where they hone their abilities in specific activity or skill areas. Outpost campers choose from three types of out-trips: backpacking, canoeing or sea kayaking. Each offers different challenges in a unique environment. Campers plan and pack for their trip, learn about low-impact travel and contribute to the success of their adventure. An experienced and accredited trip leader accompanies each group on their trip. The out-trip is a tremendous challenge and accomplishment, leaving campers with a sense of satisfaction like no other. Try to meet the challenge of all three trips!
