Birthday Parties

Looking for a great birthday party idea?  Have your next birthday party at Camp Thunderbird!

Our staff will take care of all the instruction and safety for a 3-hour block that lets participants try out 1-2 new activities.  Options include:

  • Canoeing and Archery
  • Archery and Fire building
  • Kayaking

An outdoor space is available for serving cake and snacks before or after the program. 

Birthday parties are offered during our operating season, May to October.  There may not be availability at all dates and times, call our Outdoor Education Program Coordinator for availability. 

The cost for a birthday party is $170.00 for up to ten children, and $17.00 for each additional child.  All prices subject to HST. Adult chaperones must be present at a 1:10 ratio.

Birthday parties must be booked and paid for two weeks in advance.  Unfortunately, we cannot offer cancellations due to wet weather.

 

Westshore Community Day

All  Westshore residents are invited! There will be activities to suit people of all ages and abilities: canoeing, archery, hiking, interpretive nature walks, orienteering, frisbee golf, marshmallow roasting and rock climbing.

There will be guided tours of the site for those interested in learning more about our history and our programs.

Westshore Community Day is Sunday June 3rd, 2012- 10:00am to 3:30pm at Camp Thunderbird.

Westshore Community Day is a free event but we will be accepting donations for our Strong Kids fund to help send kids to camp who otherwise could not afford to go.

Family Fun Day

Family Fun Day is an annual event each June. The next Family Fun Day is scheduled for Sunday June 17th, 2012- 10:00am to 3:30pm

Bring the whole family up to Camp Thunderbird for a day packed with fun camp activities! This choose-your-own-adventure style camps allow family members of all ages to try a range of activities. Drop-in activities include canoeing, archery, hiking, orienteering, frisbee golf, marshmallow roasting and rock climbing.

Guided tours of our camp facilities will give you a feel for what it is like to spend a summer here.

We do not charge for our Family Fun Day but we will be accepting donations for our Stong Kids fundraising which helps send kids to camp who otherwise would not be able to afford it.
