Volunteers  - Our Greatest Natural Resource

Volunteers have been an integral part of  the YMCA-YWCA of Greater Victoria since its founding in 1875. We are  a community-based association of volunteers and staff working  together to enhance the quality of life in the local community and  beyond. As such, volunteer opportunities exist in just about every  aspect of the Y's administration, programs and services, with a  strong Volunteer Development Program to support volunteers.
