The Early Child Care Centre is now open in a brand new renovated space at the Downtown Y with 24 spaces for children ages 3 to 5 years.

The children follow the YMCA Canada Playing to Learn curriculum, which is based on the understanding that children’s play is the basis for healthy child development and future school success. The centre offers an enriched program that includes swim time in the Y’s warm water pool.

The program operates from 7:30am–5:15pm, Monday to Friday. Parents may have their child in the program for up to 9-hours within those hours of operation. Monthly child care fees are $800/month.
