The Early Child Care Centre is scheduled to open in a brand new renovated space at the Downtown Y early October, 2010 with 24 spaces for children ages 3 to 5 years.

The children will follow the YMCA Canada Playing to Learn curriculum, which is based on the understanding that children’s play is the basis for healthy child development and future school success. The centre will offer an enriched program that will include swim time in the Y’s warm water pool.

The program will operate from 7:30am-5:15pm, Monday to Friday. Parents may have their child in program for up to 9-hours within those hours of operation. Monthly child care fees are $800/month.
