United Way Relationship

The YMCA-YWCA of Greater Victoria is proud to be one of the United Way of Greater Victoria’s 41 member agencies.

The Y's children and youth programs and services are not financially self-supporting, and the overall generous financial support of the United Way helps ensure that these programs and services are accessible and affordable for everyone.

The YMCA-YWCA is actively involved every day with the United Way in building stronger communities for everyone.

International  Development

Our YMCA-YWCA of Greater Victoria enhances the quality of life in our local and global community!

Most Canadian YMCAs are linked with a YMCA in the developing world. International partnership work began in 1844. In Canada there are 42 partnerships. Partnerships are reciprocal, and are based on shared experiences. Together we share resources to resolve issues common to both our local communities.
