Capital Campaign

The YMCA-YWCA of Greater Victoria’s Camp Thunderbird, located in Sooke, is a natural playground of 1,200 forested acres, with dramatic vistas and the sparkling waters of Glintz Lake. Utilizing the outdoor environment, programs at the Y’s Camp Thunderbird provide unique opportunities and experiences promoting individual growth and development in mind, body and spirit.

Plans are now underway for a Capital Campaign for the Y’s Camp Thunderbird with a campaign goal of $750,000.00. This Capital Campaign will provide funds for new and renewed facilities and buildings, while taking care to preserve the history and protect the environment and vulnerable ecosystems.
